Christmas break is finally here. Unfortunately my first day back to school will be on my eighteenth birthday. (January 2nd) Ah well, I'll live.

What's today? The eighteenth? I think so. Anyhow, I'm reading a new book for school called As I Lay Dying. I haven't started it yet, but if it has anything to do with love I might just spark note it. I don't get me wrong, I love to read. Especially genius work such as Slaughterhouse-Five and Fight Club. I'm just not a romantic, though I may have mentioned that before.

By the way, the title of this post comes from an Emily Dickinson poem.

What was your major or field of study in college? Did you wind up working in that field or using that degree? If not, what field have you wound up in?

I'm in college right now, majoring in Social Work.

Call me Jude or Logan. Either one is fine with me. I've been on this site for roughly twenty minutes, and have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. I'm here to entertain and be entertained. I don't have any jokes on me at the moment, so it looks like I'll just have to settle with introducing myself.

If you're too lazy to view my profile, never fear! I'll type all you need to know right here. I'm seventeen, I like music, and I tend to be slightly sarcastic. I love to read. Recently (by that I mean this summer) I started reading and writing fan fiction. I never thought I'd be into stuff like that, but I guess even I have to be wrong every now and then. I know, I was shocked myself. As a matter of fact, one of the best Fan Fiction writers is on this site.

I like kids. Probably because I'm as enegetic and playful as my seven-year old sister. I like video games, though I never play them. The only gaming system I have is a Super Nintendo. Good news, I just (after eight years) beat Donkey Kong. Go me!

People don't play poker with me...or games with me for that matter. I tend to cheat. In Monoply I'm often the bank robber.

I'm a Liberal for those of you who haven't guessed that yet. I'm a Social Work major in college and my favorite musician is Jimi Hendrix.
